Food relief organizations rely heavily on a workforce of volunteers. During COVID, volunteer rates have dropped by 50%, while food banks are seeing a 60% increase in demand. This unprecedented need is driving food banks to search for innovative ways to help a growing number of families put meals on their tables right now.

Picking With Purpose
The Picking With Purpose™ program is our commitment to feed and nourish vulnerable populations by using our intelligent robotic pick and sort systems to reimagine the distribution of surplus food. Partnering with other socially responsible companies to source food, we can work with non-profits to speed delivery of essential items to hungry families. With additional support and donations from corporate partners, we hope to make the surplus-food distribution supply chain more efficient for many years to come.

In addition, socially responsible organizations create greater value and deeper connections with employees, customers and communities. Working together will generate innovative learnings and partnership opportunities as we transform food distribution.
We Need You
Our first partnerships included food rescue organizations — New York City-based City Harvest and The Greater Boston Food Bank — helping to feed thousands of families during the holidays. Our robotic picking, packing and sortation technology efficiently selects and rapidly packages food staples into ready-for-distribution boxes. Starting in 2021, we are expanding our work to include other food pantries on an ongoing basis around the nation and the world.
And this is just the beginning.
We’re looking for grocery retailers, food vendors, manufacturers, financial donors, and delivery services to help source and distribute needed goods as we expand our efforts with a diverse network of nonprofit food organizations.
